Overview

This summer, I backpacked solo to 11 different countries for 7 weeks and interviewed 150 people in their twenties to ask about the motivations behind what they are doing now and where they are striving towards.

I wanted to capture the dreams and endeavors of youth around the world that come in many different shapes and sizes. I wanted to show how big this world is. I wanted to show that there is no right answer to life; that it is crucial to connect with out truest selves and ask ourselves who we are, what we want out of life. And, I wanted to show the beauty of humanity, of this world, and of our lives by showcasing how every single individual is unique, brilliant, and beautiful in their own way.

From a 16 year old boy dreaming to become a pilot, to a 37 year old single mother who still has a little girl within her. On the streets, in universities, at public parks, in trains, on ferries and so many other serendipitous encounters in the most unexpected places. Let my interviewees show you how beautiful the humans who fill this world are, once we take a step back and look around.

Life is in the eye of the beholder. I hope to deliver this message to you through the narratives of my interviewees.
